The platform automatically stops when the light curtain system is activated. When the platform stops and the distance to the ground exceeds 25 cm, pressing the door open button will be ineffective; the platform will continue moving until it is level with the ground before opening the door. An emergency stop device allows operators to quickly cut off the power in emergencies, immediately stopping the platform. An alarm system can promptly sound an alarm in case of platform abnormalities or malfunctions. A safety interlock mechanism ensures that the lifting platform cannot be started under any abnormal operation.
Barrier-free lifting platforms are suitable for renovation projects with limited space. Vertical lifting platforms should have a depth of no less than 1.20 meters and a width of no less than 900 millimeters, and should be equipped with handrails, barriers, and call control buttons. Inclined lifting platforms should have a width of no less than 900 millimeters and a depth of no less than 1.00 meter, and should also be equipped with handrails and barriers. The pit for vertical lifting platforms must have safety protection measures to prevent accidental entry, and its conveying device should be equipped with reliable safety protection devices. Furthermore, barrier-free lifting platforms can be installed without a pit, directly fixed to the concrete floor.
