Hydraulic Drive: Hydraulic home elevators are a traditional design, widely used in North America and Europe. However, due to factors such as oil leaks causing environmental pollution, excessive operating noise, and high electricity consumption, they do not conform to the modern elevator industry's environmentally friendly and energy-saving development philosophy. Like passenger hydraulic elevators, they are being gradually phased out. In the past decade or so, their sales worldwide have plummeted, accounting for less than 3% of the market, with the vast majority used in freight elevators or large-tonnage special elevators.

Traction Drive: Machine-room-less traction villa elevators are gaining popularity due to their environmental friendliness, energy efficiency, and space-saving design. Like passenger elevators, according to *World Elevator* magazine, machine-room-less elevators were projected to account for 80% of global elevator sales in 2010.

Screw Drive: Screw elevators use a nut and screw drive structure and are also machine-room-less elevators. Due to their structural safety, lack of pit, counterweight, and car, and integrated shaft, they offer high space utilization and can be used in villas and duplexes. They have been popular in the European home market for nearly 40 years.
